Our Crochet & Craft Club is making a tapestry for display at the Guildhall!
Our Crochet & Crafts Club is launching a 2026 community project to create a large “Scenes from St Ives” tapestry – which will be displayed at the Guildhall!
The tapestry will be made of individual square panels (size to be confirmed), each depicting a local scene of your choice. You can use any craft medium you like: embroidery. . . quilting. . . knitted. . . it’s up to you.
Everyone of any age is welcome. Both individuals and groups can join – so even if you belong to another crafting group, bring them on board! To sign up, please email Claire at community.volunteering@edwardhaincentre.org.uk
Once dates are confirmed and the group is assembled we’ll organise a first planning/discussion meeting for everyone involved. We can’t wait to get started on this fabulous community project with you!
