EHC Volunteers

People volunteer for a variety of reasons. Some, to become more involved in community life and meet people of like mind. Others, for the mental health benefits it gives them— a sense of belonging, happiness, knowing you’re helping people. Or all of the above.

Whatever your reason, by volunteering for the Edward Hain Centre you will be contributing directly to the health and wellbeing of fellow community members, young, old, and in between.

Our volunteers help out at the Centre as and when they can with jobs such as:  reception/meet & greet; cleaning, hands-on health and wellbeing projects . . . and more!

Why Volunteer?

‘The best part of volunteering for me is meeting people from all walks of life. I really enjoy working with the people at Edward Hain who are a friendly bunch and very welcoming.’
