Our Volunteers, Part 3

Meet some of our earliest recruits

This will be the last of 3 posts about our volunteers. It’s a composite of posts from our Facebook page during #VolunteersWeek, June 2-9 to thank our fabulous team. This last one includes some who have been with us since our first NHS Diabetic Eye Screening clinic in 2023.

For much of 2024, several of our trustees could also be seen at the Centre filling in on reception (see EHC’s Chair and Treasurer with then-trustee Jan Greenfield, below). A big Thank You to each and every one we’ve featured – and more! – and cheers to you all for helping us keep rolling.

If you are someone who has volunteered for us but weren’t mentioned, please accept our apologies, and email us at eventsandmedia@edwardhaincentre.org.uk to let us know. We’ll make sure you’re included next time!

Current favourite activity: Helping with the singalong for elderly visitors from St. Mary’s Haven in Penzance.

If you are interested in volunteering for us in any capacity, we would love to hear from you! Whatever your preference, there’s an opportunity for meaningful and fulfilling work at the Centre. Email us at community.volunteering@edwardhaincentre.org.uk to be added to our roster.
