On Wednesday, October 8th, between 10am and 3pm, Healthy Cornwall‘s friendly advisors are once again offering free health checks at the Edward Hain Centre.
If you’re between 40-74 years old, haven’t had a health check in the past 5 years, and do not have any of the pre-existing conditions listed below, then you are eligible. Valuable assessments like these can help you keep healthy. Tests will cover
🍎 Cholesterol and HBA1C check if over 40
🥑 Blood pressure reading
🍓 Height and weight check using full body composition scales
🍏 Cardiovascular disease risk score

Exclusions:
People diagnosed with the following are not eligible for the programme:
• coronary heart disease
• chronic kidney disease
• diabetes
• hypertension
• atrial fibrillation
• transient ischaemic attack
• familial hypercholesterolemia
• heart failure
• peripheral arterial disease
• stroke
• being prescribed statins or other lipid lowering medication
