Scenes from St Ives : join us for our new Tapestry Project!

Our Crochet & Crafts Club is launching a 2026 community project to create a large “Scenes from St Ives” tapestry – which will be displayed at the Guildhall!

The tapestry will be made of individual square panels (size to be confirmed), each depicting a local scene of your choice. You can use any craft medium you like: embroidery, quilting, knitted… it’s up to you.

Everyone of any age is welcome. Both individuals and groups can join – so even if you belong to another crafting group, bring them on board!

We are currently gathering names of those who are interested in being part of this. To add your name, please email Claire at community.volunteering@edwardhaincentre.org.uk, subject “Tapestry Interest.”

Once dates are confirmed and the group is assembled we’ll organise a first planning/discussion meeting for everyone involved. We can’t wait to get started on this fabulous community project with you!
