Who is Chair Yoga for?
This accessible form of yoga is perfect for anyone who wants to improve their flexibility, strength and overall wellbeing whilst practicing from a chair rather than the floor. The poses are based on those in standing yoga, but the chair’s support helps with proper alignment and gives greater ease.
- Those with limited mobility or chronic health conditions
- Anyone recovering from injury or illness
- Older adults looking for a gentle way to stay active
- Anyone who finds traditional yoga difficult but wants the benefits
