Hand reaching for another, hope, uplifting

Wellbeing Sessions for 8-18 year-olds

Everyone needs a helping hand sometimes – and Young People Cornwall are here to offer one. YPC are early prevention mental health practitioners trained in delivering Low-Intensity CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) to 8 -18 year olds.

These sessions teach tools and techniques to help with teen and pre-teen issues, and are available at the Edward Hain Centre.

🔶 Age range: 8 to 18
🔶 Good for: mild to moderate feelings of anxiety, low mood, or behavioural challenges.

This is a ‘SELF-REFERRAL’ programme – meaning that a parent, teacher, GP, other guardian, or even the client themselves, can make an appointment or series of appointments. To find out how, see the next section!

PLEASE NOTE: these are ‘low intensity’ wellbeing sessions and may not be the most suitable treatment for everyone. If you’d like guidance on whether this method is right for you or your troubled teen or pre-teen, please read here: Guidance for making a Referral – Young People Cornwall

Don’t suffer alone, or in silence. We are here to help.
