We are making real progress at the Edward Hain Centre. We are excited about the future.

The Baltic Exchange Charitable Foundation, which is the charitable arm of the Baltic Exchange, has awarded the Edward Hain Centre with a £1,000 grant ‘in recognition of Edward Hain being one of the Baltic fallen.’

Every charity depends on grants from local government bodies or charity and corporate foundations. Listed below, with most recent at the top, are all are all such grants we have received to help us fund the Edward Hain Centre since we opened.

The Edward Hain trustees are expanding their board by up to 3 new members. The St. Ives Food Bank have provided meals for families in crisis for over ten years. For eight of those, they were based at Chy an Gweal chapel in Carbis Bay; but in early May, in a move that brings them closer to most of the families they provide for, they are moving into The Edward Hain Centre.

The Edward Hain Centre is delighted to welcome back the NHS for its 2nd diabetic eye screening clinic! The clinic will run for 2 weeks, from March 25th to April 5th.

The Friends of the Edward Hain Centre kicked off their 2024 fundraising events with a bustling coffee morning at the Western Hotel.
